A:Wardrobe is Nuna’s newest category introducing luxurious, durable and everyday comfort apparel for infant through adult. Whether your preference is Cashmere or Supima® Cotton, both feature our Magnetech quiet close™ technology and provide a softness and comfort you, and your skin, will thank you for wearing.
A:We are committed to high-quality products and design them to meet, and often exceed, the most current U.S. Federal and European chemical safety standards, including CPSIA standards in the U.S.
Our production lots are tested for product safety to ensure compliance with CCPSA, ASTM, AATCC, AFIRM® RSL and CPSC regulations. Our product is third party certified by SGS and our product quality control team inspects each garment to ensure quality and safety standards are met or exceed regulations.
A:Nuna's Wardrobe line is designed in the Pacific Northwest, USA, with cashmere sourced and manufactured in Inner Mongolia, and Supima® cotton sourced in the USA and manufactured in China.
A:For launder, please follow the instructions found on the garment care label. In most cases you can machine wash our Cashmere garments on gentle cycle, inside out and lay flat to dry. However, there are a couple of exceptions where hand wash or dry clean only are recommended. Frequent washing can reduce the cashmere garment lifespan. Cashmere has more drape than bounce and should be stored folded rather than hung to prevent stretching. Cashmere Coats may be hung. Blankets should be draped gently. Store garments on hanger in a dry, temperature-controlled room and avoid direct sunlight to preserve colour. Use a sweater storage bag to avoid dust and pests when storing out-of-season garments.
A:While wearing Cashmere, we suggest to avoid wearing it with rough fabrics to reduce friction. Pilling is a natural characteristic of Cashmere. When you notice pilling on the garment, do not pull them off directly. The correct method to gently remove the pills is to pinch them lightly with your fingers and slowly twist. This will gradually loosen the fibres, and the pills will fall off. If you would like to use a tool, we recommend using a Cashmere comb to gently remove pills without damaging the delicate fibres.
A:Yes, we hold ourselves and our manufacturing partners to the highest level of ethical and environmental practices.
Our factory and manufacturing partners are certified with the following:
Cashmere and Camel Hair Manufacturers Institute (CCMI) members which is an international trade association that represents producers and manufacturers of Cashmere, camel hair and superfine wool, working to protect the integrity of these products, proper transport and accurate labeling for consumer interests.
Good Cashmere Standard® Certified which improves the welfare of Cashmere goats, the working conditions of farmers and protect the environment.
OEKO-TEX® STeP Certified factories which support a more sustainable product with environmental and chemical management, social responsibility and fair working conditions, safety and protection for workers and continuous improvement of production processes and efficient use of resources.
OEKO-TEX® 100 Certified factories where textiles have been tested for harmful substances from yarn to finished product and the articles are certified as harmless to human health.
Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA) Certificate guaranteeing the production of internationally traded Cashmere using only sustainable practices that result in reduced environmental footprint and a fair economic return for participants throughout the chain of custody, from shepherds to retailers.
A:No, it is not water resistant. Cashmere garments can be treated to become water-repellent, or waterproof, but we believe in keeping chemicals away from your baby’s (and your) skin and have not treated our Cashmere fabric.
If your Cashmere does get wet, it is important to air dry it flat and avoid twisting or wringing it as this can damage the fibres.
A:Cashmere fibres are some of the only fibres in the world that are hollow, making them naturally lightweight, breathable and thermoregulating. Its superior lightweight comfort allow Cashmere garments to be comfortable for wear in all climates.
